A great fortune cookie recipe

Fortune Cookies really are quite simple to make. Anybody can do it as the ingredients are pretty characteristic of what will more than likely already be found in your kitchen and there are no complex aspects to the process itself except maybe to form some custom fortune cookie witticismsHowever they do take a little practice when first trying to follow a fortune cookie recipe.

What you are going to need for your fortune cookie recipe

1 Large mixer bowl

Cookie tray

1 Muffin Try (for standing the finished Fortune Cookie to maintain shape)

2 eggwhites

teaspoon vanilla essence

small spoon almond extract

3 big spoons of vegetable oil

cup of plain flour

1 spoon of corn starch

cup of sugar

Salt to taste

The Strategy

First start out with a big bowl and add 2 reasonably big eggwhites and a half a little spoon of vanilla essential nature. You may also add half a teaspoon of almod extract. Next add 3 spoons of plant oil. (You can add a little less if you're searching for a fitter option) Then whisk until quite frothy. You will then have got to add a half a cup of plain flour and one little spoon of corn starch. Next add half a cup of sugar, a dash of salt and a drop of water, try three teaspoons to start with and take a look at your consistency.

Next blend into a batter and start heating the stove to 300F. Once your range is heated and your batter is ready to go begin spreading the batter reasonably thin on a cookie tray to a diamater of approximately 4 inches, then heat till the perimeters are golden brown. This should take about 12 minutes depending on your oven. Next pull the cookie batter out of the oven and lay your fortune cookie asserting on top of the batter and fold over. After you've folded the batter mimic the shape an a typical fortune cookie by bending over a curved edge e.g. Your mixer bowl, then position in a muffin try if you have one available to maintain the shape of the Fortune Cookie.
